What's the big deal about SPF 60? I heard that an SPF of 30 isn't that much better than SPF of 15.

Currently, SPF ratings are measured for UVB rays only. That's one small category of light waves that are known to cause skin cancer in humans. Within this range, Total Block® rates an SPF of 60. It's true that an SPF of 30 isn't much better than a 15, but it is better and a 60 is much better than a 15. In the past, higher SPF products have not been recommended because they were too thick, were hard to “rub in” to the skin, and often caused breakouts. Total Block® has overcome these problems to produce a skin friendly solution to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays.

Is Total Block® non-comedogenic?

Testing indicates that Total Block® will not cause acne or worsen outbreaks.

How long will a bottle last?

Used once a day, a 2-ounce bottle should last approximately 2 months

Is the preparation waterproof?

No, it is water washable and cleans up with soap and water.

Can I use a moisturizer with Total Block®?

Yes, apply the moisturizer first and let it dry before applying Total Block®.
